It’s always nice to know a little bit about someone as authenticity is more important than ever. Here’s a little bit about me or a lot, summarizing has never been my strength.
I’m a happily married mom (35 years), with an amazing husband, daughter and three dogs. I have two Pomeranian brothers, Champy Bear and Snowy Bear and one micro-Chihuahua named Gidget. Gidget was named after the famous Taco Bell dog in the popular 1990’s commercials.
My family, dogs and friends make my life whole. I have great online friends too, and they also complete my full life. I enjoy grabbing a cup of tea and reading and writing along with my friends. I’m a member of a lot of great websites and have the privilege of knowing great webmasters in this niche website world, as well as their member friends which I'm now part of those friendship circles.
In the last century, my accomplishments were in music and athletics. I was a competitive figure skater, and concert flutist. I took on cross country track for a little while until my knees where screaming from the stress of both skating and track. My work career included property management and then I changed careers to manage a dental office, which brings you to this century. I’ve been officially retired for over twenty years to raise a family and home school my daughter. I’m recently out of retirement when I created the software startup company Bello Dynamic, LLC.
My hobbies and interests are also broad from artistic to technical. I'm a novice graphic artist and enjoy dabbling with graphical ideas. The other side of me is I love to write and challenge my ability and skills to take a subject and thoughtfully write about it for others to enjoy. It’s not easy writing in a way that speaks to all readers. The subjects that fascinate me are the human spirit, movie reviews, animals and pets, anything history, alternative health, physical fitness, (I still get in my two miles every day), weather forecasts and history, geoscience, earth stewardship and an occasional op-ed when the news creates the right environment for sharing a thought or opinion. If I had to choose between listening to classical music and classic rock, I'd choose classic rock every time, however, I do enjoy a wide range of music from classical, techno, jazz, country, reggaeton, South American, and anything in between.
My website interest started with my first website in 2009 with vBulletin. I’ve had several websites up through 2015 and took a break. In 2020 I started thinking it was time to open a website again. There’s something about being a webmaster that is exclusive and unique in your soul just like being a runner that must get up and run every day. I had to take that run again.
In 2020, I took some time to really think about my next website project. It took quite a while to come up with a domain I liked. Then the challenge was do I stay with vBulletin or do something else? The planets somehow lined up at the right time and I decided to challenge myself into learning a new social platform instead.
I launched my new social website in 2021. It’s not always easy to learn a new admin control panel and then see how everything you set works on the member side. I had several setbacks and continued issues. At the time there was a somewhat dim elusive light bulb working in my head because of these continued failures, however that light bulb wasn’t too bright yet that could point me in a certain direction. That light bulb shining in a certain path was to come soon. I was also spending a lot of time getting support for my issues, which is how I met Donna. I can tell you that if there’s anyone you need support from with your website and certainly someone to talk you off that ledge because you’re at your wits end, you will want Donna on that receiving end of your support ticket. She walked me through many issues that weren’t always easy to resolve, and even checked in “off the clock” at times to answer a question. That’s integrity and dedication. Meeting Donna has enriched my life with the best kind of friendship anyone could wish for.
After months of support ticket conversations, our friendship grew beyond website stuff. Sometime within that year we started having fun website conversations. The conversations went on for a while until it seemed that there was a possibility for something incredible. With more talk, planning, and consent from my dearest husband, Bello Dynamic was created. Those wishful dreams then elevated to actual logistic milestones set in motion now promising something new coming on the horizon. Bello Dynamic was born out of our combined years of listening to other webmasters and our own experiences. Konnexu is the first phase of this journey.
It's been a very interesting and focused year preparing for something great. I’ve had the privilege of working with first-class amazing people with a huge heart.
I’m looking forward to making new friends through Konnexu. We’re so privileged to have all of you join us on this early journey as we grow into something awesome!
