Quick Reply Box
#1
Does anyone actually use the "Quick Reply" box? The font is tiny when typing in it and it doesn't have the editor buttons. I am thinking of removing it as it seems redundant as we can use a reply button. Otherwise, I'll have to find the css for that box and improve it as the font is just too small.

It's very difficult to see if you are far-sided.  You have to click on preview posts to get to the emoji's anyway.  I'm good if you remove it.  Nerd

I'll see what I can do with the font size. If I can fix it, I will. If not, the quick reply will bite the dust. Smile

I've updated the CSS for this quick reply box. Please clear browser cache if you don't see any change. The font was increased from 13px to 16px. Seems to be better.

I have a quick reply question but it is about it's use in private messages.  Would you like me to ask my question in your thread here or create a new thread. Nerd  Smile

So, the quick reply box has confused me in private messages.  Upside Down  I had no idea how to describe how disoriented the quick reply box was in the messages but now that we've chatted it makes this post so much easier for me and any other reader lol. Nerd   So, I have actually sent repeat private messages thinking my first message didn't go through to the other member.  Now I see to just ignore the quick reply box in the private message thing as you suggested and reply normally. Thank you for your help!! Smile

I might remove the quick reply in private messages as it is very confusing. I do not like the PM system in this platform. Something to remember. Wink
