The usual go-to for newsletters is Mailchimp. It's a great tool for making newsletters, however, it has become a bit pricey. So, when looking for alternatives for our start-up, we found one with great reviews and an awesome free tier. MailerLite. It's easy to set up and has embeddable forms, as you can see in our footer.
Feel free to join our newsletter lol. Our sign up form is a simple one by choice. There are lots of options for the form so you can customize it how you want.
Their free tier has 12,000 monthly emails whereas, Mailchimp has only 1000. MailerLite allows 1000 subscribers on the free, MailChimp allows 500. There are more stats on each but that gives you what you really need to know. Their next tier paid plan is only $9 per month which is quite affordable.
It has all the features you need to make nice newsletters/marketing emails. Group your subscribers how you need, such as sales, client/customer, staff, etc. You can make landing pages, popups, use images in your emails/newsletters, and a lot more. There's even a mobile friendly version so that your subscribers can read your newsletters without issue. You can even create automated emails for onboarding.
I'm looking forward to using this nifty newsletter/marketing tool. Lots of integrations, create surveys and quizzes, etc. Oh, and it has reports too. Everyone loves those lol. Can't tell if your newsletter or marketing is effective without analytical tools.
